I realize you already have 6 others, but if you'd like more, I'd love to try it!
Whatever you want! Thanks,
Sara

Ha, ha...looks like I should have checked the board earlier! I don't have the foam book, not sure if you have to have it to try the pattern. If not, and if the previous posts don't work out let me know and I will try the pattern. Looking forward to seeing the finished puppets from everyone.

Ok, I've got 10 people... and only 6 spots.
So, hey, I'm just going to give it to everyone who replied
Sorry, anyone requests it after now, you've missed out.
I'll PM everyone for further instructions.

Thanks, NA...that's very generous of you!

Ok, I've sent through some instructions now to everyone. Please let me know if there are any problems or you'd prefer a snail mail version of the pattern.
I haven't named him yet... at this point he's just known as Round Head muppet after the name of the pattern.
Yeah the hands turned out well. The pattern is a composite of two or three things. The head is from the puppet below (which is actually a useful way of showing how the pattern can turn out with another character design and/or fleece). The body was 'made up on the spot'... that is, not from any other design, and the hands came from a pattern I had from my first muppets. It's extremely handy to make patterns from everything, so you can rebuild or reuse them later. I'm hoping to turn my bell-shaped head into a pattern too (used for my cow puppet).

Just a short note to say I realised two things I forgot to fix in my patterns. I wrote them to sell, but gave a version of it already to someone here. I forgot to add in some measurements in inches (all measurements are given but only half will have both metric and inches). The other thing is that I might not have had other 'Americanisms' in there, like stating that PVA is Elmer's Glue.
Please if you catch anything else that confuses you or needs to be 'translated', let me know.

I did notice that NA.
The couple things I wasn't sure about:
* A4-sized foamie (is that 1/8" fun foam?)
* A3-sized foam sheet
Think that's all...thanks!

Ah, the A4 Foamie is a brand name.

I guess it's the same as fun foam?
In terms of thickness for the A3 sized foam sheet, I've been buying what's cheap and available here which is about 0.1 inches (3mm) thick. Basically, whatever you use as foam normally, like with reticulated foam (we can't get it here, which is why I mention the foam sheet).
Thanks for catching those things, I'll update the patterns. By the way, handy link:

A converter for measurements using both metric and inches, etc.
