Na, I don't know if you want it but I'm willing to make time to read your pattern. I'm dutch and can look if it good understandable your foreign people. I only need your (how do you call that in english) how you discripe how to make the puppet, not the pattern itself. I don't have time to make a puppet anyway. Maybe you want that.......

I just reprinted my body parts and had my husband enlarge them but they still look too small.  Glad to hear 200% works.  I will try that.

Yeah I to had issues with the size but it was only with the neck.  Since I went another direction and didn't make it monster looking I removed the neck part.  Other then that and a minor change in the chin I used all the sizes and parts as posted. It's funny I love how big the hands are.  On a non monster puppet it's  funny stuff.

Gav, what problems did you have with the neck?

Gompie, thanks for the offer, but I'm in the middle of making a lot of changes to the instructions. Maybe when I'm done.

I too love big hands! (on puppets that is )

Na, one question I got - once your pattern is done and prepared to be sold, what route for selling it will you choose? I mean, printable version sent on a CD on the receiver home address or downloadable from your site? Would be nice if there will be a possibility for us to download your pattern better than waiting for it from Australia (especially when we consider postage costs).
Re: Pattern giveaway Posted by Na on Oct 25, 2008
Yes, the pattern will be available (only... or at least for the moment) as a download via my website. It's much cheaper that way and easier for everyone else too. The download will be a pdf ebook, but due to the size it will also be in a .zip file.

Of course, if people want it printed and sent, or have download problems, I'm happy to accommodate other methods of sending it.

Will the size be quite big? That's good, that means a lot of detailed pictures have been added into your pattern! Am I wrong?
Re: Pattern giveaway Posted by Na on Oct 25, 2008
The zip is 15.2 MB... so yeah, lots of photos!!
Re: Pattern giveaway Posted by tsu on Oct 25, 2008
Hah, that's great.
Could you please tell me what approximate date of release of your pattern will be?
Re: Pattern giveaway Posted by Na on Oct 25, 2008
In the next week. I am literally updating it right now. I have a few people who've left feedback that I need more info on, and of course, people are still working on their puppets and their feedback I will incorporate if needed later on. I think I've covered the biggest issues that need to be changed, so it should be ready soon.
