Hi folks,

Just finished my new bird puppet. It took lot of time since I fixed the upper beak on to the top (front side) of the head..I thought it is going to be a disaster since I could not complete but then  I continued with the lower beak & completed the body. Well, it looks like an overgrown chick!! It is sort of bulky to handle. For the head pattern I used the round puppet head from puppetbuilding.com. that was originally created by Mike moore. I checked in P&S gallery for a simple bird puppet pic but I think not many have attempted.

To overcome the beak  problem I have started another bird..this time I started with the beak first. I designed the beak & fixed the head. I am in the process of building the rest. Will post it when ready.

Great puppet.  He's a very cute bird.  Very chubby as Tsu noted.  Very far from a disaster.  I see him as a success.  Keep up the good work.

I like the Bird Puppet....................... I have a special Love for birds. I use to raise them in a aviary. It was quite a experience. Your bird has quite a innocence to it.
