I don't know the etymology of the word "redneck" but a synonym might be "hillbilly", or backwoods country folk who appear socially awkward to city folk and are associated with a southern drawl in their talking, loose personal habits, pick-up trucks, hunting dogs, beer and the ability to thrive in the great outdoors.  My husband said that when the hurricaine Andrew hit his home in Miami, it was the "rednecks" that came through with their chainsaws and helped clear the roads while everyone else was still in shock and didn't know what to do.

Everybody within themself has a spirit that make them do (No matter how much), something of good (Independently of his belief), of course we all gain (the bad part) something (since we are born) that make us do bad. But we all have conscience (make us know what is bad or what is good).
