hey Jon I actually am a writer as well; I was a journalist for 6 years. and i am a super word-nerd, it's true.

living in Toronto does give me access to a lot of great fabric - in the 'fashion district' there are many many shops filled with top-of-the-line bolts. it can get a little pricey but it's worth it! i have my eye on some fully sequined black stretchy fabric that i long to make into leggings, but it is $99/yard! yikes.

DrPuppet, I will post those fur photos as soon as I can so you can see what it looks like.

i will post some more photos of this project asap - the werewolf is really coming along and now i have to also start work on two puppets i am making for MTV Canada. it's going to be a very busy couple of weeks.

A LOT of people call me Wild Thing and i am totally okay with that. and, you're right - i *could* be from a renegade group of virulent shape shifters ... but i wouldn't tell you if i was!

What a fun name to have Juliann!
I wish I could see that fabrics where you are.  I could spend tons of time in there.  (My kids would hate it.)

I love words too.  It was kind of a game in my family when I was growing up to try and one up on the each other by using a bigger or more rarely used word.  Now I get a lot of pleasure in using different words simply because it make conversation and writing more interesting.  The only draw back come when I use words no one else knows.
