Today was Christmas and this morning when we were sharing gifts my eldest daughter presented me with the coolest little gift.  She was very proud to have bought it with her own money.  I t only cost a few dollars but its one of those things where its the thought that counts.

She got me a tiny Play Mobile toy set where the toys have a puppet theatre.

I think its cute and cool.  It touched this fathers heart.

Thanks Henry.  I thought about scanning or downloading a picture but the sentamental part of me wanted to use a picture of the actual gift.  sentamentality won out.

We rally like Play Mobile too.  Lego as well.  Today I was playing with the Mars Mission legos with my boys.  And yes some of the legos are mine.  if I didn't have my own I'd never be able to protect all the pieces to the set.

Puppeteers are kids in adult bodies. (maybe I should add that to my signature line)

Sounds like we are peas in a pod as I believe in the sentimental original too.

Just for the record have you tried the new Bat Man Lego game yet it's available on most consols?

If not and you do have a console make sure you get it as it's the best game yet.

My 21 year old son home from college has spent his vacation building a whole medieval kingdom with Legos!  He told me that when he is finally finished with college and has a place of his own he wants to have some of the Legos to use as a creative diversion from whatever project he is working on for his real job.  We have had bins full of Play Mobile in our house too but Legos won.  HOWEVER Lego does not have a puppet stage!  Someone is going to have to tell them to get on the ball!!

I have a teenage nephew that wants to become a designer for Lego.  I have fun playing with both legos and Playmobile and I'm 40

My girlfriends kids got me a box of latex gloves. I use them when I airbrush. If only everyone else knew what I used them for I wouldnt have gotten the look I got when I opened them in front of her family...yikes.

After all was explained, I was off the hook.
