Blue boy pattern Posted by Na on Dec 28, 2008
Anyone got an alternate link to the Blue boy pattern other than the AOL one? AOL no longer offer their hometown sites so the link has gone.

I bet Billy has it saved on his local computer. Since it is no longer available on the net I would bet it would be ok to post it here.  The Wayback Machine does have some stored copies of the page. LINK TO ARCHIVE  I am not sure if it has all the images still intact though.

Thanks Shawn - funny, didn't think to use the Wayback Machine
Most of the images appear, except for one.

Sad, apparently AOL didn't even warn people they were going to stop using hometown sites; people weren't even able to be notified to make a copy of their stuff!

The Wayback Machine??!!! I didn't know Peabody and Sherman were members of the forum.  Why don't they ever post?

It's great that we save the content of these sites.  You never know whe someone is going to clean house and then something you value is gone.

I think Billy does have it stored on his home computer. If I'm not mistaking I beleive he was offering it in one of his puppet making kits.  I do have it myself I'm going to try and locate it.

You can use this link...

It's the root of the folder and you can save all the patern.gif files..

I have designed a puppet pattern based from the blue boy design that I will be offering at a later date, You are correct I did have it saved on my computer and have placed in a pdf file in my gallery for download. just look for the book folder pictured below. I did not know how to upload a pdf to a post.

Thank You so much for updating this patterns location. I have recommended this pattern to many beginners over the years and it has become a useful tool for schools, churches, and just about everyone. You should be proud you have helped so many over the years. May I say I'm glad you have joined our group and is great to compare notes with the Blueboy owner. Thanks again.

I was looking for something not too complicated and free puppet pattern, and it was not easy to find the one I wanted!! But with this Blue Boy, I created my puppet and I'm really loving it!!!
The mouth didn't match with the body so I had to alternate a bit (also I didn't have the material originally mentioned). But it's OK!!
So thank you for the link!!!
