You will have good results with Jons Pattern they are several other patterns to try after you do this one just let me know and I'll hook you up to the ones available on the forum. Welcome to Puppets and Stuff.

Thanks, I'd love to try more patterns soon!  I just started to get overwhelmed by the possibilities so I decided to just pick one and go.

Amanda, welcome Pupets and stuff.  If you have any questions about using the head pattern just ask and I and several others will be more than happy to help.

The pattern is very versatile.  In fact simply altering the shape of the mouth plate insert will change the shape of the head creating different looks.

I've used variations on this pattern for most of the puppets I've built.

Can't wait to see what you come up with.
