How to get wrinkles out of antron Posted by SilhuetProductions on Jan 03, 2009
Hey, I'm new here and I've had some antron in storage for a couple of months, I pulled it out of its box to make a puppet and the fleece was wrinkled all over. I'm hesistant to do anything to it because I'm worried about it being ruined, I bought the fleece from Georgia Stage and am pretty sure it's 12 oz. There's about four yards of it and I need help quick!

                                                      Thanks,
                                                                 Luke

I should be safe to dampen it with water and run it through the dryer on a setting that it safe for polyester.  When its dry it should be wrinkle free.

I agree with Jon, Just dampen the fabric and dry on a low dry cycle. If you are going to dye it you will have to do this process anyway.

Thanks guys, big help. Gonna try this and then post back with the results and get back to work on the puppet.

Wouldn't simply ironing it (carefully, using a low setting that's safe for the fabric) not work too?

That's our Sonny! LOL. Try steam from an iron. Hold the iron just above the fabric and press the steam button. Do not put the iron on the fleece that will surely mess it up. Hope this helps.
