dose any one know of any big puppet makers in England, i talking like jim henson big there's got to be something over here.?

I don't think there are any other puppet makers in the world as big as Henson. That being said, I know that there are some professional puppet builders in the UK. Perhaps some of our long time members from the UK would be able to tell us who they might be

There is a guy call Hellyer (That is His last name), He makes an excellent job with puppets (Making it)

Actually, the London Creature Shop was closed a couple years ago. The Henson Co. may still have an office or maybe even a small workshop somewhere for occasional projects, but the Creature Shop itself is now based on the Henson studio lot in California.
I think the most well-known British puppet maker is Darryl Worbey Studios. They have worked on dozens of British shows and created a lot of well-known characters in Europe.

thanks andrew i was trying to find the name of that fellow yesterday now i have it.

Yup Darryl Worbey studios would be the biggest. My personal favouite of his is 'Basil Brush'. Such a great puppet.

they seem to be hard to track down. tried to phone them but just get answer phone i also sent them a e mail just got to play the waiting game.
