I would love to teach students the making of puppets.

If you dont mind, where did you get the pattern for the head? Looking at it, i'm trying to pattern it, but it seems like it might be a tube face puppet.

Nice to meet someone from Holland! I buy my foam Also on the market but you can find this market-man in Eindhoven. Look at his website: http://www.schuimrubberhuis.nl/

The foam is just right. You need the thinnest one for the hands and arms, the head is one larger. Hope to help you this way

Don't worry. It is really easy. I even like the relaxing music Nice has on her youtube movie. My students can make this puppet in two evenings from 19.30-23.00!
