Really inspiring. My favorite is the alien. Really cool expression . I love the teeth! How do you do them?

Wow - great work as always, Sonny. I have to agree that I really like your take on Frankenstein's monster, though they are all wonderful.
Thanks for sharing!

Thank you Friends,
I appreciate all the kudos. It's like a huge red cherry on a sundae. Comments make it all worth while.
I have been busy creating in the puppet bunker and it's been a fun time.
For those of you who are fairly new to this forum and love to make puppets, I myself was a complete n00b. Sure I liked arts and crafts and pointed my interest into making puppets, but if it wasn't for some honestly, deep down, complete friends who guided me to completing my goals, I would have never reach the level of puppet making I am at now. Shawn, Billy, Ron, Michele, Jay, Daryl, Andrew are awesome people to be internetly linked as online friends. (this is Not an acceptance speech..heehee) I'd like to also thank my Mom and Da.....sorry.
Consider this place an incredible find, I do and will respect it as one.
I'm always here if anyone has a question and I can help...or try to.
Shawn: On my website are Jingles and Monroe. I might have not posted them on here. Those were 2 puppets that customers liked and wanted that type of design. Thank you for everything and especially this great venue to learning, sharing, enjoying the world of the Puppet. I owe you lunch...x50
Miguel: Don't mean to sound like a poor sport, but just cutting the top 10 would have been good enuff.
As far as the foam/latex technique, It's quite messy but equally fun. I will start putting together some pics and video for that.
I can also male a few facial parts vids. Most of it requires just a razor and a glue gun. keep prodding me.
Thanks for adding me to your list...as long as its not your "Hit" list.
Billy: Brother! Puppet Hug! Thank you for every source you directed me to, information you collected for me and all the super puppet supplies surprise packages (say that 10x fast) you have sent me when I first started....oh that last one was a great box supplies and eyes. Your store is getting much bigger and a wonderful one stop puppet supply shopping experience....what a relief. Can I call you Mr Drucker?
Jon: Thank you very much. No need to be humble. With every puppet you make you will improve. With this group of talent we all have main stage. Like Grasshopper said to Cain, "Be the Sponge, absorb the Knowledge"....maybe that was Spongebob talking to Patrick,...but anyway, just keep watching the techniques used in making puppets. Gather your favorites use them together. Your cake...make it any way you want it.
LJ: Thank you for liking the "Foambodies". It keeps getting more fun on every project. Puppet Hug!
Quote - it is fun to see what you have been doing lately!! Is that you peeking in my windows and making my dog go crazy? lol
Stiqman: Thank you my friend. It's always good to put a puppet in a loving Home. Some of my puppets sent me Christmas cards...oh wait, that wasn't me
MPGRACE: Thank you kindly. That puppet was an experiment and luckily turned out very nice. If you look, there is a string coming from the bottom lip, it's rigged to a pulley and mouth movement is controlled from that. Round head - Tube mouth.
Johan: Thank you for the props. Thanks for loving them all. Sometimes the puppets log onto this forum and read the threads. Last time they read some non-loving things that were said about them, I woke up the next morning with oatmeal in my slippers and Ex-lax in my tea.
Confused Monkey: Hazel sends her love, she's fond of hairy sapiens. Frank was a big build. He just kept getting taller and taller. He was tough to send away. Oh did I mention that Hazel said hi? Thank you for your nice comment.
Yesterdog: Thank you Yes, The Alien was a long project. He was a foam base covered in latex, airbrushed and sealed. The teeth are from a homemade cast i made from a clay sculpture. I used a plaster paris that I got at Home depot. Used a blank 30/50 CD case container, filled it with plasterparis and submerged my clay form upside down from the top. Let it set and then dug out the clay. Once dry, pour in latex. I like to make the solid latex pieces so I fill the whole mold in with latex. this can be done with ears, noses, teeth, brows, warts, cheeks...etc.
Droffset: Appreciate the kind comment. Thank you!
Ron: Super Fly! Thank you my good friend! Thank you for all the help and wise wisdom you provided. Frank was really a big project that came together quite easily. 3 tier head with a removable brain...not me, the puppet Ron. lol
Peace,
Sonny

Tell Hazel she still looks good, too.Oh, and if not too much trouble could she turn back into a Human? I'm getting tired of bananas.

Sonny your puppets are amazing. As a matter of fact I was just talking about airbrushing to billy the other day and mentioned how big a fan I was of your work Your puppet making style is one of my favorites. I hope some day to create puppets on your level. You making some videos or posting picks would make my day. I really want to move into airbrushing and latex puppets. Oh!! and my favorite is the rat.=D
