Contact Name Removed said she has a bolt of 12 oz. Orange antron fleece available at $15.95 a yard. I believe they are experimenting with the possibilities of carrying Antron in various colors. Call for samples.

I thought orange is not exactly the colour I would think they would start with......maybe....skin tone?  Probably would have more success with that colour since it is hard to get that colour in a dye.....just my thought.

Thanks Billy.....

True, I believe Hampshire Textile is using a outside source for dyeing the fabric. It could be that this was a test bolt to experiment how much dye must be used to dye a 50 yard bolt    I had talked with Larry Guild and he was telling me that they were working on flesh colors. I rec comended some possible colors to him.

I am glad that you addressed the issue.....sometimes it is nice to have skins tones ready to go instead of having to dye it all the time.

Thanks for being a great advocate for the puppet people.

Thanks for being a great advocate for the puppet building community, Billy.  I've been thinking about taking the leap into working with Antron but have been hesitant because I'm leary about having to dye the fabric.

Just let me know when you are ready.................. i got everything you need, even practice fabric to play with before you dye the antron.

For those that don't know I have antron and dye packs available.

Billy or anyones else who knows the answer    Can we purchase directly from Hampshire Textiles?  Is that the manufacturer of the Antron?  If so, is it cheaper than purchasing form Georgia Stage?  What about quantity discounts? Does Hampshire or Georgia Stage have a minumum?  Do most of you use 12 or 14 oz.?  Questions, questions....

I have several projects that I would love to use Antron on, but would only need 1/2 yd in several different colors.  It's a shame it's not avaliable in different colors.  I really don't like the idea of dyeing it myself and it's would not be cost effective if I ruined even a small amount.

It seems from the other discussion about dyeing that the 14oz. did better.

Thanks for your help.
