Moving Eyes

I have been playing with blinking eyes on puppets but has anyone tried combining blinking and moving eyes on a foam puppet?? (Kind of like a Ventriloquist puppet)

Dr. Puppet http://www.drpuppet.com/video_tutorial_page_1.html has a great tutorial on doing blinking eyes for foam style puppets....if you do a search on this forum it comes up with some links to other idea's as well but Dr. Puppets is the best one on the net (and maybe only one) for taking you step by step and showing you the whole procedure unlike the free ones..  Hope this helps.

Does Dr. Puppets video show both blinking and moving combined?  I thought it was just the blinking part.  That being said it is worth getting.

What you want to do is possible and you do it the same way it is done on a vent doll or marionette.  I don't know that there are any on-line tutorials out there on combining the two.

Its fairly easy to adapt blinks with moving eyes. Basically with my video the eyes have a bar running horizontal, however if you reversed that and made the bar vertical you could easily attach a bar to the back the move them side to side. the only other change would be putting a second bar in place to attach the blinks to.

Oh "BIG ONE" instead of half rounds you need full globe or at least 3/4 globes
