Baby and Hatching Egg in nest Posted by Billy D. Fuller on Jan 26, 2009
While I should be concentrating on things at hand like my website, organizing my work shop, things like that. I new baby has been born into my family Hayleigh . I am so captivated with this sweet little girl that I can't keep my mind off her. She is my reason to learn more about green screen. I am planning a photo shoot to do with her and am busy building all type props to make the shoot more interesting. I thought I would share the Birds nest with you and of course a picture of my little angel.

You've been blessed with a beautiful new addition to your family.  I can see why you would want to give her a lot of time and attention.

Can't wait to see how you are able to cobine pictures of her wit the nest.  It promises to be an adorable picutre.

Thanks guys, I have her angel wings, silk rose petals, all I need is my green screen. have my background cd's and  my new program green screen wizard http://www.greenscreenwizard.com/

It is so strange I need so many other things like a computer upgrade, Dr. Puppets cd's and fix things around the house but I'm so wanting to learn to do this green screen photography using her as my subject. I will let everyone see the pictures when I'm done. I may need some help from those that have worked in this area. I forgot I have to get lighting as well.

Truly ADORABLE!!  I can see why you are captivated by her!  Just have fun! They grow so fast!! But remember to show us your finished work with the photos - the nest is great!  What did you make the eggs out of?

I bought a 18" latex balloon ......... (the ones they have the expanding machine and they put gifts inside) and used eight layers of paper mache using various layers of white paper, paper towels, and fusible fabric that I use to make hair wefts. It is the kind that just tears away like tissue paper. Not sure what it is called. I added it for strength. Then I just cut the egg in pieces and repaired the cut edges and any weak spots.

I made the nest by attaching curved branches to a cardboard box and the used smaller pieces from a yellow flowering shrub we have in our yard and did a basket weave using brown yarn in the weave. I lined the edges with brown pom poms to make it look like nesting material. Added the yellow boa for color. I had fun doing it................... problem is I don't have anywhere to store it. It is quite Big.

I didn't know you were expecting!!!  She is beautiful!  I LOVE babies.  It's obvious that you adore her. Great choice of name too. What a way cool dad you are going to be. The nest pictures will be angelic I am sure.  I am jealous.  My sons have already flown the nest. (pun intended  ) And yes they grow up way too fast.  I still find it hard to believe my sons can live without me!

Thanks for the instructions on the egg - I need to do something similar but was a bit puzzled as to where to start.
Yesterdog - my sons have flown the nest too! The good thing is that since they are both in theatre and puppetry I have great resources to confer with!  Those tuition dollars may as well benefit me too!!
