Miguel,

A nice idea which we used in the workshop. The nose of Frency and the doctor is not the original nose from the pattern from Nice Braga. We made a triangle piece of 5 mm foam about 7 cm big, which we glued all the way on the back and the sides. Then we took the two sides (points, so one point is still on the top) and pushed it to the middle. This we we got nostrils. Then you glue it on the puppet and there you have a beautiful real looking nose. This nose gives the puppet an adult look. The original nose is more a kids nose.

Try it!

And for Johian!

Sorry people but I'm going to speak in my own language too.
I've been a long time away.............. my family needs me. We are in the proces to make the life to live better for my autistic daughter. I was a very hard time but slowly it changed here a little bit in a good working familiy.

Hee Dutch puppet.

zeg groetjes

In Dutch:
Hoi Gompie!

Groetjes,
Dutch Puppet

Translated in English:

Hi Gompie!

Yes, I've missed you! You wrote earlier that your family needed you... I hope everything is going well and that you find some time for yourself! Nice that you've looked at my website! There are many people visiting but still not many reactions. I'm afraid that people don't understand that with 4 people or more I am willing to come to them (depending on the distance)...

By the way: Be carefull with making your own puppet! It can become an addiction! You want to have more and more, especially if you want to try all the different possibilities!

Re: Dutch Puppet like you to meet Frency Posted by dutch puppet on Feb 09, 2009
For all who want to know what kind of glue I've used. I went to the local shoemaker and he has perfect glue for foam. It is invisible and don't get stiff. It is the same which he uses for gluing the soles of shoes. (don't forget to put on some ventilation or else you get very happy after gluing a whole puppet)
Re: Dutch Puppet like you to meet Frency Posted by gompie on Feb 13, 2009
Don't worry I'm addicted already and I only made a few puppets who went wrong.
Yes I have a little time for my self 2 seconds a day enough time to long to make a puppet who is for years in my head.

BY the way did you go to the shoemaker and ask for the glue ? is it in pots tube or do you need to bring your on pot to poor it in? Do you have a name of that glue?

My two seconds are gone so I have go.

I realy love this site

And I just made a plan to go saterday to a material market in Utrecht you can find the most wonderful materials there now because of the carnaval.

You guys use a lot of vowels...they dont cost extra do they?

Amsterdam is Awesome! When I was there, being from the US, I'm used to haveing ice in my drinks. There, they think I'm weird. They dont use ice....or have aircondition. Ouch.
Great history and the performance center there is something to experience. The Van Gogh museum is fabulous.

I don't know about ice in the drinks, but I read in a couple of places that you can just about ice skate across the Netherlands in the wintertime because it is so flat, and because of the canal system and other waterways. I also read that because the country is so flat that it is easy to bicycle just about anywhere there, and that many people do. Fun means of transportation, and a great way to stay in shape.

(Pretend it's a bike helmet)

I only use a bicycle, we dn't even have a car. A kid in a frontseat a kid on the backseat on my bike and a kid in a special car for my bike.
Yes we can iceskate here in t he winter outside (we still need ice) . We don't often uise helmet on the bikes. Small kids learn to cycle when they are very young. You have bikes for one years old (my son has it too)

And I don't like amsterdam it is too big, to busy and a behaviour I don't like drugs alcohol etc etc

At last I found rubber cemtent and it's here pictureglue !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
