who made these fantastic puppets??? Posted by jeezbo on Feb 15, 2009
Hello everyone, sorry if this question has already been answered, but i am on a quest to improve my abilities in puppet building, i am sort of new to puppetsandstuff but not at all new to building and designing puppets for myself and to sell, so my question is based on a few puppets i have seen on this site, but primarily one puppet design i have seen.

so if anyone can give me help in tracking down this brilliant builder, that would be sweeeeet!! i am actually aiming to build up my puppet patterns so that i can be all that i can be in building puppets. i know most of the places that you can buy patterns, but there are certain looks that i would like to experiment with.

i am also interested in other puppet designs, but i will most probably message you personally if i know your name.

thank you for any help that you can provide me with,

Ben.

I fixed the picture url.................... I'm not for sure but these look like Brunokids puppets. Maybe Shawn has it on record.

Thanks Shawn for verification on that. I'm not for sure what pattern Bruno uses but is strikes a similar resemblance to Nice Bragas free download pattern
http://www.4shared.com/file/59931446/de974d52/puppetsbrazil_patterns_original_size.html

They are other variations of the heads but the body parts are the same.......... with slight exceptions.

Thanx guys for the feedback ,
i noticed that the look of the puppet was similar to nice bragas, but the funny thing is that i cannot download her pattern for some reason, i have tried to many times, i have even downloaded different adobe pdf readers, but no luck whatsoever :'(, i have posted in puppet projects under dutch puppets newest puppets bit asking if anyone can possible print out the patterns for the head and send them to me (id be happy to pay them back for the postage costs) but no-one has contacted me back yet !! i will endevour to get in contact with brunokid to see if he will allow me to experiment with his pattern!!
i definatly look forward to increasing my puppet patterns and making some cool new puppets!!
thanks again guys,
Ben.

Hi jeezbo,

I have tryed to convert it to a word doc to email it to you but the lines weren't converted. Only the hand.
Maybe you could try it with foxit reader. http://www.foxitsoftware.com/pdf/rd_intro.php
PS If you want me to send it to you, give me your adress.

Good luck,

Johan

WOW!!! you guys have been insanely helpful,
I didnt even realise that the patterns where in Billys gallery under PDF downloads, i went straight there and found them instantly, right under my nose the entire time, how dumb am i !! i printed out the head pattern for Nice's puppet and the head pattern for Andrews puppet. (is Andrew infact Brunokids, or is he someone different , either way, the pattern looks great!!)
thank you all for putting the effort in to replying, and thank you Johan for trying to get the file into a more readable thing and for offering to send me the pattern, if im not mistaken, i believe i have got what i require now, all ive got to do is make up a cardboard template of Nice Braga's pattern and 'blow up' Andrews head pattern to put onto cardboard (oh and of course find a way of getting the mouthplate pattern to the right size!!)
i have had the tutorials as favourites on youtube for a while, but you cant really know the exact size or definate shape of a pattern from watching a video, so now i have them, im off to have a play!!!
much puppet respect and big puppetsandstuff hugs ,
i look forward to posting some more and sharing ideas with you all,
for, now, im off to build some friends
Ben.
