Hi all, I discovered this board about a week ago. Why, oh why did I never know it existed? Anyway, been reading as much as I can and learning so much! I love puppets and always have. We started using puppets at church in a more consistent way a couple of years ago and even though I am a seamstress I was intimidated to make a puppet. But a few months ago my daughter made a puppet from the Paul Louis videos and we went crazy from there, now I dream puppets! I see them everywhere I go. I'd like to show some of the puppets we've made as soon as I figure out how!

Welcome to Puppets and Stuff, Oh how I remember that same moment. The smell of fleece, the touch of foam, a gasp of air as I inhaled my first fumes of contact cement. You my dear have Puppet fever. There is no cure for this and you must take extreme caution. People have been known to take a mohair sweater right off a humans back just to make a puppet wig. It can be contagious and expensive. It is good you have chosen us as your support group. We will help you Thur this by answering any questions you may have.
I have never heard of it killing anyone but you will die of laughter. Make yourself at home you are one of us now.

Welcome!! Yes - you have discovered the side effects of puppet fever!! It is incurable but a GREAT disease to have!!! We do look forward to seeing your creations!!

Its been a while since I posted here, but welcome abord! Oh, and one trick to help with the budget, go to your local dollarstore. You will find loads and will save alot of money too.
