Thanks once again for all your feedback...we have used 2 (500 watt bulbs) sets of  focussed light.
Shadow puppet photography is also an art...I understood this art during my research days when
I used my SLR camera without using flash...now of course the digital camera gives a better result.

The big male & female narrator puppets are my original design. For rest of the patterns
the students modified designs from books. I also used some characters from the book `Worlds of Shadow Teaching
with shadow puppetry by David Wisniewski & Donna Wisniewski. There are not many books on contemporary
shadow puppetry around the world. I have some of them plus more on traditional shadow puppetry. As you
all may be aware that I did a doctoral research on the traditional shadow puppetry & the status of puppeteers.

I decided for a big size puppets after I was shown the 2 screens & the big Auditorium where the final show
was presented.

Shadow puppet form has its own  feeling & impact. It is very easy to create but requires proper screen & a light source
for presentation.

Those puppets look great - you've given me some ideas for a shadow puppet class I'll be doing next month
