Regarding the tools, I guess if it wouldn't be a good idea to start with a beginners set, until you get used to work with the tools, and so avoid wrong employment to the good set

I am going on a Marionette Carving Course in July. I have the book "Puppet Circus" by Peter Fraser which I am carefully studying now. The course is run by the London Puppet School and takes place in Yorkshire.

Hope you come back and share your skills and pictures of your work from the course.....it sounds like a great opportunity......wish I could get something like that happening here in my province.
