I built a lot of different heads and couldn't decide what to do with them, what to do to improve the skull, so I was playing, changing, cutting, adding. It took a long time, but finally I got it. I told myself: "If that one wouldn't work out, maybe I'll be forced to give it up, unfortunately". And these words, I suppose, were my interior motivation to keep it up and continue the building process.
Migel, I'm not able to answer your question. If you would ask me: "how you did this and that specific part", I suppose I could tell you more, but I cannot say how I did Peanut as a whole. It was spontanous, it was like: "hmmm, maybe I will add a little foam in here, and there", it was by trial and error.
What was the worst part, I can honestly say - lips and mouth/mouthplate. I mean, mouthplate wasn't difficult to build, but the problem occured in connecting it with cheeks and upper / lower lip to keep mouthplate be able to be manipulated.
If you would like to know more, just ask, I will try to answer as much as I'm able.

@Chris - yeah, I played with light while I was taking some photos of Peanut. He had... a "pseudoprofessional session" in the "studio" (living room)
That's why some photos may look quite nice (I suppose these ones with very dark background).

WOW!!!! Nice duplication......especially for being your second puppet and the funny shape head which can be very challenging.....it really worked out great.
It was well worth the wait and tension building........

Daryl, oh yes, Peanut's head shape WAS challenging for me, especially if lips and other protuberances are to be considered...
