This is such a great puppet. I did notice no one ever mentioned my all time favorite puppet maker Verna Finley. She made Peanut and many other fantastic puppets. I'm don't believe she is still living(anyone know?) If she is, she is in her late eighties.
She used bleach bottles for the bodies and stretch terry and fur for covering. Her soft sculptured people puppets are so amazing, but she also made an entire zoo of animals too.
Her patterns are still available to purchase through a man in Florida, I believe.
