In the Area? Posted by klinney on Mar 02, 2009
Hi All.
Yes, I am a Newbie but have been on this forum just as an observer for awhile. I am ready to plunge forward. So my first question is are there any puppeteers in my area of Sedona, AZ. I am 2 hrs(don't know the miles) out of Phoenix (North) and South of Flagstaff about 35miles. I wanted to search the members list by area but couldn't see how that was done. I am interested in making puppets.
Thanks!
Kim
PS hope this does not show up in duplicate spots! Trying to get the hang of this.

I believe there is a Arizona Puppet Company. Not sure what the name is but I know they have a theater and puppet troupe.

Welcome to the party Kim!
Stick around and have fun!

Welcome! I agree, it would be great to connect up other puppet folk, but don't let that stop you! Sometimes you meet them as you put yourself out there for others to see. Besides, it's just plain fun!

I wanted to search the members list by area but couldn't see how that was done.

Currently there is no way to search for members by location but it is a good idea and something I should work on adding.

Welcome  and hope you find others interested in puppetry in your community, it makes the experience so much more enjoyable with like minded people.

If not then this community will fit the bill.....we all love to support and help each other out.  So if you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask.
