Love the hair, how did you make it?

I agree the hair is really neat......I also like the colour of the shirt......he looks like a zeke for sure and ready to go and play some field ball......what a nice end result......good job!

Thanks for the kind words friends!

The hair is actually made by folding over a specialty fur into a strip, then sewing the equivalent of "fingers" down in a row... so they can be clipped in between then turned inside out do get the "dred" look.

I knew I should have taken pictures of the process!!

I'm loving the hair too, really nice!
What is the color of the fleece skin you've used, please don't say you dyed it yourself! :'(

And... I'm seeing those eyes a lot, and I really like them, are they handmade or bought? If so what are they called, thanks.

Well maybe you could repeat the experiment and take pictures this time, to show us all how you did it the first time. That would surely be valuable to many members here, including myself.

Thanks!

The fleece is hand-dyed antron, but don't despair, I simply used the chocolate brown liquid dye, it's super easy!

The eyes are a basic plastic form that I got from Billy here on P&S; you can now get them from Matt at Puppet-Mart.com and I finished them in antron, black velvet (for the line) and furniture pad dots.

He actually just sold on eBay, though only for $80.  I know that is a fair chunk of change, but comparatively to the hours I invested.... I pretty much paid the winning bidder to take him

But, not to lose heart, I'm on to the next project!
