Greetings Earthlings Posted by VampireWombat on Mar 13, 2009
Hello all. I'm Scotty. I live in Texas and I'm 29 yrs old.

I started attempting to make foam and fleece puppets since October, I believe. I've tried several methods for making the skull and am still trying to perfect things.

My first mostly complete puppet (still has arms and might never get them) is a pig which I started right before Thanksgiving. I made a couple of puppets using methods from the Expert Village videos for my niece and nephew. But it's just not the method for me.

I've looked through the forums here a few times for information, but hadn't taken the time to sign up until today. Looking for more information for making mouth plates led me back and I decided I would sign up after all.

There are a lot of methods for mouth plates and puppet making in general. I know there have been past topics discusing mouth making tutorials and step by steps. I am sure when some of the guys who know all the ends and outs here chime in they will know right where to send you.

DrPuppet - Thanks. I've seen some of the stuff already. Including a Silence of the Lambs reference towards you.

Billy D. Fuller - Thanks for the welcome. I only bite marsupials and monotremes. Thanks for the link and info.

miguel - Thank you for the welcome.
