Hello,
My name is Joey and i'm from the Netherlands... at first i wanna say 'sorry for my english'
I cant type or speak it that good.
I became a member of this forum because i wanted to have ehm .. whats the word.. okay,
there was a school and i cannot go there because i wasnt able to show them much of my work because i dont have much stuff
that has to do anything with Animation.
I only had pictures and must word with Stop Motion, Puppets, sand animations and more.
So i really wanna make a puppet and make short movies to start with.. tjust little things.
There is only one problem.. i don't know how to make one and i cannot order from outside the Netherlands (a book).
So can you please give me advise or patterns or wich materials i need to make on?
I mean, how did they made Kermit.
Again, i'm sorry for my english but i hope you can help me.
Thanks a lot, Rolender (Joey)

Hi Joey,
Welcome to P&S! We are glad you joined us here. Don't worry about the english. We're just glad you joined the fun.
I would suggest www.projectpuppet.com. They have several very good, yet basic patterns that you can purchase and download, so you won't need to worry about having it shipped. These will give you a great start. They also have wonderful tutorials for adding features.
When you start building, please remember to post pictures.

Billy has several patterns that are free in his Gallery if you want to give them a try.
Barbara Dewey Patterns
Blue Boy Pattern
Also if you think there is another way that you could pay for the patterns at Project Puppet then email them. They are very good at working with people and you can trust them.

To make payment you can use a credit card or pay pal to project puppet. They can be trusted and will try accommodate overseas customers.

Hee, i looked at Billy's and i saw a pink puppet.. but where are the patterns?
I only see foto's of puppets, hihi.
Not that they aren't funny but i cannot find patterns.
Rolender
O, o i was to fast, i already find it.. but the only picture i don't understand is the body pictures from the Barbara Pattern.
Ehmmm.. could somebody explain that one to me?
If i wanna make a puppet with the fabric kermit is made from... which fabric do i need? and which fabric goed into the body?
Greetz again!

Just want to add my welcome to all those that have already been posted. You're in the right place. If you can't get the help you need here you can't get it on the web.
The only advice I have is start simple. Even for your video's. Onath builds some beautiful but simple puppets and makes videos that are great.
Good Luck and share what you come up with
