this is a little guy i made in 20 mins at my daughter's 3rd birthday party. its crude and un finished , but i have been waiting to post something on this site! i know the nostrils are far apart, like i said it was 20 mins, with people stealing my scissors and glue!

I think he is just adorable!  The puppet is pretty cute also.  Sorry I should have let one of the ladies deliver that line but could not resist.

He really is a cute puppet.  The eyes are great... what is the yellow around them?  Using the pipe cleaner with felt to make his back ridge stand up is brilliant.

I bet your daughter didn't care about the nostrils at all did she? Any dad willing to sit and make a puppet at his daughters birthday party is OK with me.

Welcome and thanks for sharing the picture!  I love sock puppet ideas!!  Everyone has socks around that have lost their mates so why not make puppets!!

thanks so much for the comments, i never see negativity on here which is refreshing. i use yellow buttons for the eyes and i used rolled pipe cleaners to hold up the eyelids, i will take another pic to show the back scales, i need to complete him.

I love it and the fact that you did it for/with your daughter.Wait until you can do it with one of your grandchildren.
