Non Juan puppet for client Posted by puppetlady on Mar 26, 2009
I just mailed out a puppet for a client. This is Non Juan. Perhaps you will see more of him at www.nonjuan.com once my client recieves him and has a chance to do some filming. Non Juan is a distant cousin of Don Juan, but unlike his predicessor, he is not so great with women. His miserable dating experiences and the lessons learned are going become the content of the videos made of him. Non Juan #1 was well received by my client even before I shipped him, so he requested a second puppet just like him but without legs.
Below is a photo of the puppet. See www.nonjuan.com for the cartoon drawing that he is based on. This cartoon is what I used to design the puppet.

He's really cool! The copying of the eyes/eyeglasses from cartoon to puppet is very, very effective. That's a great way to do the eyes for this puppet. Great teeth, too. Who's his orthodontist?

You did a wonderful job designing and building this puppet. He looks perfect for the type of situations you say he was made for. I especially like the eyes/glasses. They really set this puppet apart from the typical puppet. This is definitely one for your portfolio. You ought to be very proud.

Thanks guys! Wanna know how I made those glasses? It's a very easy trick.
