Pigs in production Posted by VampireWombat on Apr 03, 2009
When I joined I mentioned a pig I had started on in November and didn't plan to add arms to. Well, since saying that I decided I would give him arms after all. He's the first of my own odd re-imagining of the three little pigs. He's the architect of the group.
As he was when I joined.
As he was yesterday. Today or tomorrow he'll be able to clap.

Now that's a cheerful pig. Isn't it amazing how much personality can be in a little bit of this and a little bit of that?

Thanks for the comments. I'm planning to take another picture this afternoon. Have to finish up the stitching on his left hand.
I'd give further responses, except my brain seems addled at the moment, sorry.

Definitely like him bes with the shirt and arms. It help to define the head and the body.Thanks. Yeah, he does look much better with the shirt and arms. They alone didn't define the head and body, though. I added foam for the body and I did other modifications I hadn't mentioned.
very nice looking puppet.
Here he is mostly finished. Probably going to add a pocket to his shirt. And of course he lacks any rods.
And here's the second pig in the works. He's going to be a chef. Sadly, he won't be finished for awhile since I don't have anything to use for his clothes.

There once was a Pig that wore a checkered shirt and lived happily in a straw hut.......it certainly adds personality when you added a shirt and some arms.

Bhanu - Thanks. I like the look of the shirt, but the material itself isn't so great.
Daryl - Thanks for the comment. Alas, this is the one who lives in the well constructed house (haven't decided if it'll be brick or not, though). I have a horrible sense of humor, so the other two are going to have not quite accurate houses. The chef will build his house out of bread sticks and the other one will build his house out of bendy straws.
