Contact Cement is what puppeteers use to glue there puppets....you can get it at hardware stores......however you need to use it in a well ventilated room (outside is best) most puppeteers use a filter mask when using it.  As the name says upon contact it will cement and pretty hard to get it apart without ruining stuff.

Good job on both puppets.  I think you've got what it takes to build you're monster design just take your time.

As for contact glue, darryl summed it up. If you can keep your surfaces apart while you add it it is great, but it has it's draw backs also ( just like hot glue) in most ways it superior to hot glue once you have some experience with it but it is not a ticket to completely avoid ruin! Lol. everything has pros and cons.
I wasn't very clear regarding the term "Human wig." I meant a wig made FOR a human not FROM a human :O Human hair wigs are expensive (very) Materials for wigs range through various animal hairs to synthetics, also of various qualities. The most common synthetic that gives a reasonable result for an affordable price is acrylic, then it can also vary on how it's woven. I've seen two wigs from the same manufacturer, supposedly identical, that were vastly different. Both were worth about $100 (Australian). I've also seen ( I'm working with people wearing them at the moment)hand sown, human hair mustaches worth nearly a thousand Dollars (Aus).
My point? My question was wether you had made the hair from another material but it seems you got a good (though probably not human hair) wig, made for humans from a novelty shop.
Cool, that's the second time in a couple of weeks someone has pointed me towards that kind of shop for accessories! I'll have to check it out.

Awwwwwwww I love him.  He's so cute.  I really like the arm like a Cookie Monster arm.  Most would just have a rod arm but I like the use of the real hand/arm.  GREAT PUPPET!  Keep up the wonderful work and thanks for sharing this.
