I finished four more!
Now I need to stop and clean up all the fur!!
Don't be surprised when cleaning up the fur.................. if you cough up a fur ball lol.
You are on a roll with these puppets. Are you planning to use these with in your puppet program.

The eyes for the puppet on the right came from a Jack-o-lantern decorating kit! I picked up a few of those kits last fall thinking they had some possibilities for something (besides decorating jack-o-lanterns of course - why would we use something exactly as it was meant to be used that is not what puppet people do )
Actually two of the puppets I made have eyes from that kit - the girl one with orange ringlet hair does too.
These puppets will be used for the puppet team that my husband and I direct not for my own shows. But I think I may bring some along to the workshop I will be teaching again in July for teaching teachers how to use puppetry in their classroom. A good example of how to make something a bit more detailed but not too difficult.
Thanks for all the feedback - I have found a new hobby! I needed a hobby since my former hobbies - ventriloquism and magic - have become my job now!! Like Miguel said I had instruction and encouragement from the best - ALL OF YOU HERE!! Too bad we can't have a Puppets and Stuff conference where all of us can meet!!

I hope we are talking about the blue puppet on the right end......I thought that you used spoons with glass buttons for the pupil.....I would not have guessed that it was pre-made by a company.......they are fun eyes.

Yup - the blue one on the right - they are nicely made eyes! I am going to keep my eyes open (pun intended) for more kits like that in Halloween clearance next year!!

Lovely stuff, I thought I had clear favourites early on but on closer inspection they all came alive and that's without an operator! Well done.
