Alright, sounds fun. I already made a couple test pair of eyes yesterday and it definitely has some nice potential for making cheap semi-realistic eyes.

This sounds like a good idea! If I can get time to see them, I'm sure I'll be intrigued with this. It's always fun learning new skills, heehee

I'm sorry to say I missed this. I've been unbelievably behind on all things puppets thanks to my (successful!) puppetry classes the last couple of weeks.
I haven't watched the video yet, but do have a couple of suggestions:
It would be great if you got together a web page where you archive all the recorded videos, and included show notes, like people do with podcasts. That way we can find each episode if we miss one. I do believe there are sites like this available, where you can archive vodcasts or podcasts for free.
Two, if you can, find some 'screen capture' software (there are some free ones out there I believe), and set it to record your computer just before you start your show. You can record as much as you can fit onto your hard drive, and make sure to set it so it captures sound, but doesn't capture your mouse movements. You can have it running in another room if you need to keep your speakers on to capture the sound.
I kind of wish I could participate, but don't enjoy being on camera (hence my idea of a podcast, not a vodcast...). But I will definitely think of some topics. Maybe I could be convinced to use my web cam....
Oh, sign me up for mini workshops! That would be cool
... Hey, I have a thought. I've got a shadow puppet pattern I was going to do a video tutorial for. I could definitely save it and give it up for a blogtv thing.

If anyone happens to find this type software let me know. Na I would love for you to do a live shadow puppet tutorial. I love your videos but this would allow folks to ask questions.

I used to have a good screen capture software - free - but it was on my old computer and I haven't been able to find it since. I'll try and find it again.
Billy, can you tell me (or point me in the right direction) of how to go about doing this live filming? I'll have to figure out if I have the equipment to do it.

Sorry, wasn't clear enough. I've already joined the site and subscribed. I meant that is there some sort of FAQ about setting up your camera/computer to record. ... I guess I'll go hunt for the info on blogtv.

Hey Na....you don't even need to have a camera to come and watch.....just come on Thursday and watch, you can participate through text with comments and questions as you watch and we can respond. You don't have to be on camera to participate or watch the show, if I am not mistaken some people didn't type or do anything and was watching. All the small clips are located at my you tube account which I will get a link up soon (my time is limited this morning). As Billy said it has the video on the blogtv site as well as linked to this topic. As I said I wish I taped the whole thing but I am still learning and figuring things out.....I realize that we start recording again for ten minutes. I might spring for a pro series so that I can tape a whole mini workshop and post it.
I hope that you come out and even watch if you don't have things together yet and get a feel for the site and what is it capable of. The camera and all is pretty easy to set up. I like this site because you just plug and play.
I would love for you to host a mini workshop it is great to do it live (as Billy said) people can ask questions, this is what I like about the live thing you get immediate feedback. Let me know when you are ready to go live.....I will add you.

FYI the video (eyes) was featured on the site over that night and over part of the weekend....it will hopefully help with getting it more recognized in the blog tv community.
I forgot to mention this earlier.
