@Gompie

You are in the Netherlands if I recall correct, so in 0:00 - 24:00 right this moment when I am posting it would be 17:19 where you live but 10:19 where I live in the center of America.  Daryl lives in Canada on the West side so it is 8:19 where he lives.  So you are 9 hours ahead of Daryle in time.  He plans to do the broadcast at 20:00 his time on Thursday so if I am calculating right for you that would be 5:00 on Friday.  If anyone sees a flaw in my logic please let me know.   Below are two links to help you figure out time differences.

Daryl,

Congrats for the new method of communication!!!...Wow wow....no words to
express my excitment....I was sooooo thrilled first thing in the morning!!!
since it was early morning in India. I could not sit through for more than an one hour
as I had some programme with children.

Folks, Daryl was too good and  patiently explained all the queries.
I was awestruck with his wonderful studio & all the simple puppets
made using spoon, boxes...etc.

I am looking forward to the next session....BTW do you also hear voices
or just chatting session??...I am little confused since I could hear him
but he was not able to..if I fix a web cam then is it possible to see
& hear each other???

Once again thanks a ton Daryl for showing us the studio & all the techniques.

Cheers
Bhanu

Thanks everyone for the feedback....I truley enjoyed myself and glad people left with some new ideas or tid bits.

@Gompie-it seems that Shawn answered your question....I would like to add that it has a count down clock that includes days, hours and minutes.  Just go to my BLog TV site (here is the link) http://www.blogtv.com/people/StiqpuppetsLive  scroll part way down the page and you will see a box that is titled "Show Details."  It will say "My next Live show" and you will see the count down clock below this line.  This will help anyone in the world to figure out when things happen.

@Bhanu that would be great if you could get your camera fixed.....it would be nice to talk visually with people.....I started to feel like a talking head. LOL  BTW I don't think we can just talk I think it is either visual or text.  But we will look into that next show I am still learning all the possibilities.

@ Shawn I hope that you can join us next week....I am pretty sure you have a camera hooked up and ready to go so we want to see you live.

If anyone has ideas on any demos they would like to see happen or suggestions for the next few eposodes then I could help get the people or materials organized  to do live tutorials.

I think I figured out why I have 10 minutes it is because I hooked the recorded video up to my YouTube account which limits video's to 10 minutes so I will have to end each 10 minutes and do a second part ect until a tutorial is completed.  I have about 3 hours of space on the blog TV site I discovered.

Next time I may actually turn my webcam on for a bit. That'll give me a bit of time to organize some things so there's not as much of a contrast between Daryl and myself. Also will give me time to get better lighting so my webcam doesn't look too grainy.

Bhanu - I think for what you're wanting, would need to use a website like Stickam. As a video blog type website, the one Daryl used would be designed for just one person at a time instead of several people at once talking.

I think that VampireWombat is correct about the fact that if more of us want to be on screen useing a camera we need to use Stickam.  Both Daryle, Billy and I have accounts at Stickam so it would be possible to do some sessions via their service also.  Like BlogTV Stickam is free to sign up an use.

You could be right about that Shawn....I do know I can invite people with camera's to join me with PIP (picture in picture) but I am only limited to one person at a time (I think...maybe another) maybe I need to get a few of us on with camra's and experiment before the upcoming show.  Sometimes that can be less confusing....I found Stickam with so many around it was hard to talk especially with the delay they have we would start talking over each other......but I am open to different ideas if we think that is important feature in the future.....Vampire Wombat that would be great if you want to pop in with me......just text when you are ready and I will make it happen.

@Gompie BTW "Subscribe" on my blogtv page and you will get any notices of future shows and updates.....just a suggestion.  When on my page scroll down and hit the subscribe button....that is it.

Thanks

I think you are wright shawn I don't think I'm be able than to see it live because I'm sleeping on that time (at least I hope) Half past five I get up and don't have time to watch this life thing, pityfull. This two hours are the busiest time in the house.

Daryl - Not sure what I can add on Thursday, but I'll try to think of something. Only idea I have at the moment is showing a method of combining mask making techniques with foam puppet techniques.
I could of course show around my work area a little. But that would last all of a minute or so. lol

I just got an idea of something I could do instead of/in addition. There was recently a question about making puppet eyes. I could show different stages of making semi-realistic eyes using polymer clay. Admittedly, I haven't done it before... But I know the concepts behind it and could make a few between now and then for practice.  Would something like that be of interest?
