Full body puppet made with Simple Series pattern Posted by puppetlady on Apr 23, 2009
Here is Miriam.  She was made using the Roly pattern from Project Puppet.  She sports the alternate body pattern and a smaller version of the Forma Series hand.  Made for a school, she is ready to ship!  The hair is made from pieces of hair extensions purchased at a wig shop and sewn on by hand.  She has armitures in her hand for poseable fingers and hidden rod tubes in the bottom of her wrist for arm rods.  Legs are removeable for easier back stage use.  Flexible pallet is made of leather for a better variety of expressions since she was designed for use as a teaching tool to discuss emotions with children.

Wow!  I love her!
I just ordered one of the regular patterns like that...can't wait to try it now!  I've only had the Forma series, until now.
Great work!

That is just tremendous. How long did it take for you to make her?

Thanks for the compliments.  I forgot to log some of my hours (I only have 8.5 hours listed) but I suspect it was actually about 12 hours total.

She looks very nice. Also makes me not feel so insane for buying hair extensions any time I see them cheap somewhere.
