In search of a stage. Posted by MamiTorres on Apr 23, 2009
Hello all!
My name is Evelyn, and I am not so new to puppetry. I am a Chaplain's wife and I had a puppet ministry back in the states. I used onewaystreet.com and puppetproductions.com to purchase the materials that I needed. We are in the military now and I had to leave everything with the church that purchased it. I was looking into starting a new ministry here in Germany and when I went to my trusty site it was out of business! I really liked the stage that they sold in puppet productions. I had one from oneway street.com but I found it a bit wabbly. Does anyone know where I can find a stage like the one they sold in puppet productions? I have a huge budget and expense is not really an issue (but reasonable would be appreciated). We are starting a ministry here for the military children living here and I want to make it good. Any help would be appreciated. Also, I am used to the puppets from Onewaystreet that have the elastic in the mouth to keep your hands from slipping out, but if anyone knows of better puppets please let me know. To me it looked like puppetproductions was switching the way they sold things by going through yahoo, but through all your posts I can see that it was not so. Thank you so much for the postings! They are very helpful. I look forward to your help.

Welcome to Puppets and Stuff! We have something more then puppets in common. I am an Air Force brat and was born in Germany!
I would keep checking on the Puppet Productions site since there are rumors that someone might take the business over. I don't really have an alternative for you but did want to mention that and welcome you.

Here's a website I came across...don't know if it is exactly what you are looking for, but it might help you make something at least temporarily...

You may want to check out One Way UK. They are an authorized seller of One Way Street products in the UK. I'm sure shipping would also be cheaper then. Good luck. Here is the link for you. http://www.onewayuk.com/

I thank you all for your help. I am going to be looking into these things. In know that Puppetsinc.com is taking over for Puppetproductions.com, but they don't have all the things they had before. I have a big budget, but I have to get going in putting in my wish list so I thank you greatly for all the help!!! Hope to show you some stuff once I get going!
