I am working on next weeks show anyone have suggestions OR (even better) co-host a show with me....the show is back to it's regular time slot.....Thursday at 9:00PM EST.

Hey folks don't forget to leave comments over at BlogTV.  It is one way to get the show noticed by others. While it is great to have our community here I always want to encourage development of puppet venues in other places.  Heck we may have already picked up a new member via the show.  I can't remember his user name but he shared his first two puppet builds with everyone after the official show.  Pretty cool, the show has an after show just like Oprah!

Thanks you Daryl, Shawn, and Na for a spectacular class. Spite the tech problems I thought the night was a success. I'm sorry I was not fast enough in blocking spammers in the chat room, but having others really helped.When someone is kicked out are they permanently banned from future chats? I'm still catching on to how things work............ Perhaps we can start a thread on how certain features work and any tech questions others may have encountered during any previous sessions. Congratulations for all that has participated in previous shows. I look forward to the next one.

Well, at least I got consolation with the recorded videos! But I have bunch of questions. So if Daryl did it yesterday, that's mean it wont do it today! Right?

@ Shawn thanks for co-hosting and looking forward to the next one.....I like your set up and I am planning on getting another webcam for any future set ups for workshops.....I will need to pick your brain on how you do it....I have webcam extra program for a short bit to experiment with it.....however people say I am static most of the time and not moving smoothly.
I agree with Shawn....please star and comment on the site it brings more attention to our site as well as blogtv will advertise it much better as well.......so go and comment and be a freind and subscribe even during the weeks in between it all adds up and counts.  Yes we do a bit of an after show which is fun......Next week NLace (computer name) (hope to be new member here) was showing off his two new puppets he made for the first time......he does an amazing job for the short amount of time that he works on them and he is improving with each new puppet.  Well Nlace has challenged me, I am extending this to all of you out there we have one hour to make a sock puppet after the Thursday show and all we can use is certain material found in your bathroom.  I will be posting the materials list in this forum.  It is all in fun even though I feel my palms getting a little sweaty. LOL  We are both going to be live while making them and anyone else who joins can take a picture at the end of the the hour and post it to show your work after the hour.....so come and chat and watch or make and have some instant fun.


@ Billy thanks for the comments both Na and Shawn did a great job and I am liking the variety that we are being shown stage sets, marionettes, ect.  I agree that some people do come by and TRY to ruin it.....this is hard to get around without making it a "posh" group which I don't want to do.  I thank everyone who helped with operator it really keeps things running smoothly so please don't underestimate your role on our site........I figured out that you can remove the text dialogue from the video if you want.....that is what I did.....so for future shows I will ask the co-host any questions that come up so we can delete the text for the video's. 

@ Miguel and Andrew sorry you missed it but the video's are up and going.....yes Miguel we are not on tonight (Thursday) but back on Thursday night next week same time same place.  I got the pattern and kit as one from www.armslength.com As you can see they are great professional style patterns.....I have altered mine a bit to meet my needs but overall the essence of what you get is there. 

Hope to see many of you next week again and please help with topics suggestions.....they may not happen right away but I have an ongoing list that will be checking off as we go.

I would love to see the next step in Shawn's work that he started. Like putting a body to that marionette's head he started for us. But I admit that Vampire Wombat's topic is making me curious.

Very nice show last night.  I especially appreciate the prompt removal of the hecklers.

Just finished watching the video archives. Another great week! This is such valuable stuff, remember to rate it people, stars and comments bring traffic, support and encouragement.
Daryl, I'd LOVE to see how to hand punch hair (I have a particular long term project in mind)
Shawn I've done a similar thing with Fimo over a foam egg covered in Al-foil(to stop the egg completely collapsing in the oven) but the Paper mache/paperclay looks so much easier to work! One questioncan you re work the paperclay if you want to redesign something? Eg. If you wanted to re work a feature, say the nose, can you wet it enough to re work/remove it? or is it a matter of cutting/sanding it off to rebuild it?
Final question, for Daryl, On this weeks archives I was unable to see the "chat," or interactive questions, as I had been able to see in the past. Is that a preference setting to make it easier to record? From the sound of the comments about hecklers I'm probably better off, but it does put more importance on you reading out the questions as they come. You are getting very good at doing that and including it in your patter by the way. The interactive host with the most, a new presentation style for a new media.
