my mothersday present Posted by gompie on May 10, 2009
This morning my daughters and son gave me the presents for mothersday. We only give the present who the kids make for me on school or at home. My oldest daughter, Deborah,  made a paperpuppet for me......... You can really go with your hand in it. It's to small for me but I like her very very much I'm proud of her. You can she her a little bit is a picture

It is very special because she is autistic and made something I really like. We discovered that she is allergic for milk and since the day we don't give her milk she changed. She talks about her feelings, asked when she doesn't know what to do in a situation etc etc. This morning she gave me more than the paper puppet, she made something I like, what is very difficult for her...............
My second daughter, Anouk, couldn't find her present she made on school and hide somewhere in the house. So we decided it is her treasure hunt present. My son, Jaïr,  of two made a drawing together with his Dad

I made pictures, put them in  my gallery but don't know how to get them here in this topic....... so look in my gallery............... I found one solution....

What a beautiful breakthrough moment for you all. For her to reach part of her emotional vocabulary through puppets might be a key to accessing more in future. Congraulations, it really must be up there with first hug or the first time a child says they love you "out of the blue", makes me smile a lot!
