A new dragon puppet Posted by Rcdspoon on May 11, 2009
Hello Gang,

Spoon here to show my latest addition to the Spoon puppet family....

Yes, for those who know me...it is another Dragon.  This one is a serpent style western dragon.   Unfortunately the dragon has no name.  However, that request has been put to my children, who informed me via memo, it could be up to 3-6 weeks before the dragon has a full name.  Isn't that cute and they are only five!!!!!

I was able to get the fabric at Jo-ann's (it was on sale for 50% off).

Well, let me know what you think or if you have any questions. I'll chat with you guys later! Until next time spoon out!

Sincerely,

RcdSpoon

Love that fabric!  Great job!  How are the wings supported?  Are they strung to the head?

I was curious what a western dragon was and my search was amazing. I did not realize they were so many type dragons.

This one seems to be the most viciouse one looking out of your collection.....but I do like the look and feel of it......the fabric really adds to the overall look of the puppet.

Can't wait to see a video of this one in action.

He looks cool. I'd love to know what your children name him.

Shawn, the wings are both stitch to the back of the creature with a little bit of hot glue for support.  The wings are really light so they should hold pretty good.

Billy, I have to apologize, the style of the dragon is not western its more of what dragon lore would call a Wyrm or serpent dragon. However thank you for the link to the site...

Stiq, I'm hoping to do a video soon, not quite sure what I'm going to do yet!

Thanks for your comments and questions....
