Howdy! Posted by chamois on May 14, 2009
Happy to have found this site! I love to make puppets and hopefully, one day, I will have the guts (and a good show) to perform
My "most famous" puppet is the Uncle Sam shoulder puppet I wore when I was a delegate to the National Democratic Convention in Denver last August. Boy, I'll tell you, you may not have seen me (if you happened to be watching), but I was close to being the most photographed person there!
I'm currently looking into casting puppets out of some sort of flexible foam, but I'm not sure what kind to try: latex foam or flexible urethane foam. My earliest inspiration was Topo Gigio ("kiss me goodnight, Eddie." and I ultimately want to make a puppet and a show in that black theater style of puppetry.
My website is www.appleday.com where you can see some of my puppets, but so far I only have my political stuff up

Hi Chamois, Welcome to PnS. As you can see, we are a nice little family. i really like your puppet style. They do have their little personnal touch. If you have questions, dont hesitate to ask. There is always somebody here who knows the answer.

Once again, a huge welcome!!!

Welcome to the website. Interesting website. The Obama stuff makes me think of shrunken heads, though.
Make yourself at home. But careful, some of the puppets DO bite. But luckily most have no teeth.
