I find boas and fur in a lot of places.  Boas - Wal Mart, craft shops, fabric stores, etc. Do a websearch or phone book search for "feathers" and you can usually find them.

Fur... fabric stores mostly. I carry my blacklight flashlight (the LED UV is great). Sometimes I end up buying some and taking it home to really check it. I try to buy where they have a return policy, so if it is not blacklight I can return it.

Thanks for this information. I did not think about taking a small portable blacklight with me but I am going to do that from now on.
