Thanks for the fabric info & video link. I admire your
innovative ideas...hey wonderful. The mermaid is also
cute & interesting. I am not sure if Spandex is available
here in India. Will chek out for alternatives....
Have you used this material for any other puppet body?

The fabric for blacklight puppets is that fluoriserend (I hope this is the English name). I can find here only that kind of fabric and I am wondering if that is the same.

Gompie you have the correct word and they mean the same thing. fluoriserend = fluorescent

I've used this fabric for a couple of other puppets that needed a very stretchy body but this was the first time on a puppet that didn't need the stretch of the fabric. I used the spandex because of thetight glove like fit I could get. I haven't tried the pattern with regular fleece as I know I will need to make the fabric pattern a little larger to fit the foam body. I used spandex because of the wide variety of colors and patterns available.

Yes it is used for blacklight. If you can test the fabric with a blacklight in the store before you buy it will save a lot of trial and error. You can buy hand held blacklights online and use them when you shop.

I love its "lips" :D
Great looking fin too.
Do you have a convertible "outfit" for a fish?
I'm asking cuz every photo shows different fabric for scales.
edited: OK, I've got it --- these are different puppets... Did put my question before read.

Great fish puppets. I would prefer the CD with a printable pattern myself. These would be wonderful for use in a childrens church setting.
