you should make a shark next

I might just do that. I've made sharks to cover lawn tractors for my daughters marching band show. Theme was Pirates, and they wanted a way to leave the tractors that pulled the percussion "pit" on the field and I came up with the sharks. If I can find pictures somewhere I'll post them. They were painted foam on pvc frames, Their mouths were open and the movement of the tractor made them look like they were opening and closing their mouths. The sharks were about 8 feet long and fit right over the tractor and the driver sat in the middle, almost like he was riding the shark. Pretty cool.

Yes it is used for blacklight. If you can test the fabric with a blacklight in the store before you buy it will save a lot of trial and error. You can buy hand held blacklights online and use them when you shop.

Sue

I was on a fabric market here in Holland and saw very cheap fluoriscent fabric but the seller didn't for sure if it was blacklight fabric. What do you see when you use the blacklight lamp..... (I forgot mine  :'()

The fabric shows up brightly in the blacklight. The only way to tell if it blacklight fabric is to actually test it.  These photos are the same fabric, one in white light, the other under blacklight. The pink fabric appears to get much brighter and vivid. The stripes didn't photograph well, but have a similar reaction.
