Hi, my name is Marta, I started with puppets as a child. I am now getting back into it hopefully at least on a part time basis, hopefully working up to full time. I have a small collection of vintage hand puppets from my childhood I hope to get restored and retired, as well as three more current puppets.That one is a Folkmanis bird from 2000-2001. At this point I'm looking for either a turtle puppet or source for materials to make one, as well as either a hare or rabbit puppet same size or close to the turtle. I'm looking for muppet style puppets, or patterns and fabrics to construct them. This will be my first venture, it is for a PSA competition. I'm in the process of registering a name for my company, will be announcing it shortly...Oh, BTW,I am currently in Central Florida, which also inspired me to get back to puppets and puppetry.

Welcome Marta to Puppets and Stuff. I don't know that you'll be able to find a pattern for the puppets you want to build but I am pretty sure there are some images at least in the Gallery that may inspire you.
If you browse around the forum you'll see lots of suggestions for material for your puppets along with ideas on how to build them. They are too many and too scattered to really post links to them for you here.
If you have specific questions please feel free to start a thread and ask them.
