Andrew,

No I have not explored the reason and not even really paid that much attention to what the "Error" is. I have not heard any mention of it on tech sites I visit. More then likely it is some "feature" to keep the world safe and allow Microsoft to take over.

Andrew,
whats the deadline for signups?  And are you planning to do this again?
Re: Puppet Building 101: Nine Week Online Puppet Building Workshop Posted by Andrew on Jun 05, 2009
Officially, the cut-off is tomorrow night Cookie, but I think I am going to extend it in to next week because several people have emailed me wanting to do it, but can't sign-up until next week. There are still a few spots available!

I can't say for sure when I will do the course again. I'm sure I will at some point and I'd like to in the Fall, but it will depend on what my schedule is later in the year.

Just a quick note...I've officially extended registration until next Friday because several people needed extra time and there are still a few spots available!

Oh and thanks for all the great support guys!

Andrew

I have received several questions about will there be a schedule posted of class times. It seems that some that have registered have not gotten there confirmation........... Welcoming them to puppet Building 101.
I have encouraged them to be patient as you will get to them shortly. If I can help in any way just let me know. I am trying to help keep the lines of communication open for those that can't reach you.

I think some may have forgotten to add there user name in the box during pay pal check out. Others don't forget if you email Andrew " Please " place Puppet Building 101 in the subject line. This will help Andrew to recognize who you are.

Anyone from P&S that has not received a email confirmation from Andrew you may want to PM from the forum.................. if for any reason he did not get your email.

I was in the workshop today shooting the first video for the course and away from the computer for most of the day, but I *think* have responded to everyone who contacted me directly. There were some problems because a few people signed up for the course and paid for it, but didn't provided me with their user name on PuppetBuilding.com so I've had to manually track them down and figure out who is who.

These are the sign-up instructions for the course:

  • If you don't already have an account, register for a new account at PuppetBuilding.com by clicking on "login" on the upper right corner of the page and select "register" (this is now a little more specific than it was before).
  • Click "Buy Now" on this page. You will be redirected to PayPal; please fill in all of the payment information and be sure to include your Account name.
  • You should receive confirmation of your payment from PayPal almost immediately. You will receive a welcome email with full details of the course within 24 hours (this should usually only take a couple hours, but please allow a full day just in case).

I have to apologize because the confusion is is partially my fault. The sign-up process is a little clunky and not as seamless as I would like. It wasn't possible to streamline it more this time, but I will be improving it before there is another course. Also, it can take up to 24 hours to get everything set-up. Registration will close this Friday (at the latest) and the course starts next Monday so no one will miss out on anything.

If anyone is still having problems, I always respond to emails regarding the course within 24 hours and usually much, much faster. Be sure to send them to puppetvision@gmail.com and as Billy said put "Puppet Building 101" in the subject so your email is immediately flagged.[/list]
