I found this website that shows how to mix acrylic paint colors for skin tones
http://slappingpaint.net/JN_creatingfleshtones.htm
Link no longer available.

I received this book today. I have to say this is a excellent choice in Art books. Not only does it teach you how to mix skin tones in all mediums of oils, acrylics, water colors. It teaches about lighting, shadows, and what skin tones are used for each.
While looking at the skin tone charts.................... my mind could not help from thinking if these skin tones work with paints wouldn't the same or similar concept work with dyes. The basic colors mixed with White are Tan's, red's, orange's, yellow's, brown's, and believe it or not blue.
If you do not have this book.................. you must add it to your list of books to get. I am sure you will love it.................... I do.

Hi Shawn
well I'm back on puppets and stuff having a look around and there's so much great stuff here, I've missed a lot! I shall have to keep a better eye on it!
Are the videos above still available somewhere? I like your papier mache ball joints series, i'd like to see more of the rest of the puppet making . The links above aren't working for me.

BlogTV got taken over by Younow, so if Shawn or Daryl didn't back up their videos or transfer their accounts, they may have been lost. I believe Daryl put his videos on Youtube somewhere....

Daryl does have a YouTube Channel for StiqPuppets but I don't think he ever got the marionette making series transferred over. He does have a lot of the other tutorials transferred over though. https://www.youtube.com/user/StiqPuppets/videos I thought at one time I had grabbed the others that I had done on his BlogTV account. Let me see if I can find them. If not maybe I need to think about re-doing them when I can find the time. I did transfer the account over to the YouNow site when they bought out BlogTV and some of the videos I did about the ball joint and finishing the head off are there. http://www.younow.com/puppetsandstuff#broadcasts

That's a shame if they're lost, the one I saw was very good. I can't see the broadcasts link, it won't load for me!
Maybe you could do an online course on A for Artistic.. I'm they're latest biggest fan!
