Workshop Session on BlogTV Posted by Shawn on Jun 28, 2009
I'll be broadcasting today at 10AM CT over at blogTV.  I've been painting the heads for the marionette tutorial done on Daryl's Puppets Live the last couple days on camera and thought I would schedual the last one and let everyone know ahead of time.   Hope to see you there!  http://www.blogtv.com/People/puppetsandstuff

Hi Shawn, I am wondering if there will be other blogtv sessions where you will be working the rest of the tutorial on how to make marionnettes?

Have a great day!

Shawn I forgot how I did it over at Daryls Blog. How do you receive email alerts that your video show is about to
start ?  I thought by subscribing to your blog that it would do it but not sure. I may have to set it up in a profile...don't remember.

Billy, when you subscribe, you are offered the option of receiving the alerts.

I think that Daryl decided to hold off on the Thursday nigh sessions till the end of the summer. This works out for me also since the summer is a busy time for me.  It could be the end of Fall before I would have time to do another workshop.  I often have some time during the day but am at the theater at night.  It could be I might have to do a pre-recorded version that Daryl could air. I know that is not as nice as me being on live to answer questions but I could answer them the next day.

Check in your Profile Billy.  I remember seeing some setting for notifications there.

Ah ok, that is cool. Yes, the option of seeing a pre-recorded video could be good. But it's ok if the workshop is off the air for the summer. I am starting to get quite a few portrait commission work. But I am still working on my marionnettes when I have a chance.

Just let us know well in advance when the next session will be so that I wont miss it.

Yes Shawn is right I have decided to take the summer off since so many are away and busy and down right loving the weather.  I am crazy busy as well and have not even had time to get here.  I am now playing catch up.....LOL.  I will be back on in the fall either on Wednesday, Monday or Sunday night not sure which......Thursday's will not work for me at that time.  I still come on and chat and work (actually more chat than work) but I help out on the spot for making puppets and have many in my room.  So hope to see many of you join me for a little chat.....all the best everyone.

BTW Matt is helping me getting all the blogtv workshops we have done, over to Utube so that you can have easy access to them.  I also need to free space since I am down to 25 minutes recording time left......LOL.....we love our workshops I will then be ready to record many more to come.....I want to thank all the ones who helped for the past and hope that some new people can all make my life easier and try to contribute some skills/workshop to the show so that we can have a great video library.  It is fun and teaching is the best gift you can give of yourself.

Oh no!!!  *weeps*  It feels like you know when a really great show finishes up for the season and then you have the summer off to watch reruns?  I'm sad that I've missed out on the live sessions, but I've really enjoyed watching the recorded ones!  Please please please come back in the fall!!!  I can't wait to join in on the discussions, that looks like so much fun!  Ohh, the suspense is gonna kill me!  :D
