Hi. I'm new here. I'm trying to find myself a new puppet character that I can put on my b-day list for my 14th birthday. There's two different ones I'm looking at right now:

Here are the pictures you were trying to post.

It's hard to say which one would be better for you.  I think you need to ask yourself which one would meet four needs as a puppeteer the best.  If your looking to do ventriloquism.  You might think about which one inspires you the most a this time.  Add the one to your wish list that get your creativity flowing the most freely.

isn't it possible to put both on your list ??

Welcome to the site. As for which would be good for you... Without knowing anything about you that's a very tough one. But if we go by my preference I'd say the Orangutan.

Welcome to Puppets and Stuff and I agree with Gompie - why not ask for BOTH!  You can never have too many puppets! A person character is always nice but I love my little orangutan too!

LJ, I  completely agree with you. I know of a local ventriloquist that has over 30 puppets!!!

I vote for the Monkey!!! Then again I may be partial since my sister said I always looked like a monkey.  She also said I smelled like one too. 

I think the suggestions where you ask for both puppets are good!  That way, even if you can only get one or the other, the decision is out of your hands!  That is, until they place the puppet IN your hands, and then you put it ON your hands to puppet it!  Glad I could GIVE you a hand in your decision... :D

PS:  While the blonde boy puppet is quite hand-some, I think having a monkey around the house would be handier.
