Anyone have pics of soft Vent figures? Posted by lovable puppet pals on Jul 07, 2009
Hi Guys,

I have a custom order that is for a vent puppet.  I've never made one yet, and I'm just wondering if any of you have a pic of a soft vent figure.  The opening in the back, especially.
Thanks!

Soft vent figures are basically regular rod-arm puppets but with legs. The opening in the mid-back area and sometimes also in the neck area.
If you look up those "ministry" puppets, it gives you a good idea of what the opening in the back looks like.
Good luck!

Thank you...I do know what they look like, I was simply wondering if any of you have a picture of one, showing the back opening.  I just want to make it look finished, and not just a cut out...of you know what I mean.

The back opening can be in the back of the head, back of the body or at the bottom of the torso. I could not find a direct link to a picture of the back opening but Pavlov's Puppets are some of the better examples.

I have searched extensively and can not find a picture of a back vent opening on a soft sculptured vent puppet.
May I suggest that you be the first to take a picture of yours when you are finished.

Thanks, Billy, that's a good idea.  It's nice to have a reference, when it's your first time.
I'll start taking pictures, when I get it going today.
