very cool, guys, very cool! I appreciate all of this help! I'll do my best to make the best puppet I possibly can with all of this. miguel, i'll be sure to check your pattern out tomorrow, too, when you upload it!
And billy, I wanted to let you know that I tried your technique this weekend with the eyeballs, and it worked like a charm. Thanks so much!

I revised a bit already. Just by looking at it I realized it would be too narrow. You might still want to add an inch and a half or two inches to the area marked red. It's still super rough. Let me know what works and I'll put up a more polished pattern

Thank you. I was just adding another take on it. I certainly didn't mean to butt into your project. I hope it's cool.

I did ask Meg to do her version of this pattern....... she is very good at this. The way I see it you can never have enough patterns. I love to see every ones take on how a pattern should look. Miguel can't wait to see yours.

I started putting the foam skull together. I haven't finished yet... i have to go refer to that picture again of the woman holding the foam skull to see if I've got it put together right.
the way it looks, it's looking perfect, but may need to be scaled down in size.
I had a question about the mouth plate, though. I'm not sure how to make one that would fit this puppet, and how to attach it.
also, miguel, I look forward to seeing what you've come up with too. Thanks again to everyone! I'm happy to have found such a helpful and nice community!

Is it way too big? I was trying to gauge scale by the screen shot with the lady's arm. I kinda figured it would be off. She looked to have a small wrist, but it's really hard to tell. Let me know how much too big it is. I'll fix up the pattern.
When I go in to scale I can make a mouth plate to fit it, if you like. That's no problem.

This is the pattern. I'm sorry I couldn't scan it. The program I had to turn it to PDF disappear(Well, I didn't even know how to use it). But hoping works!
