Sorry, what I thought was batting is actually felt it looks like. Batting is used in quilts between the top and bottom layer. It comes in different thicknesses. I use it on puppets to add shape and smooth out things.

Gabriel,
Just an idea for the mouth. I find that it helps me to open my photos in Paint and draw changes right on the photo. That's what I did for the photo you posted.

@Shawn Ah ok, now I know what you mean! [I'm using a quilt fabric for a blacklight song] And oh that definitely sounds like something good to consider using, I remember seeing that before at Joanns. I'll tuck that snip of information into my mind for future builds =]
@Su Oh that looks fantastic! I think I'll just raise the opening a tad and I'll have what I need. And that's definitely a great idea, thanks Sue! You've been so helpful, I really appreciate it C:

gdub106,
Your variety in backgrounds on your images crack me up... not sure why. It seems you "build" in every part of your home.

Haha! Actually neither of those two rooms I shot those pictures in is where I build everything. The bathroom one is right next door to my workshop and the upstairs bedroom is where my computer and camera were when I needed to take the picture.
But I'm glad you found that amusing.. haha!

I too giggled at the back grounds, seemed you were followingthe light perhaps. I would put the mouth opening in the lower of the two options so there is less resistance in the lower jaw, making easier on the operator and potentially opening the mouth wider more easily.
Looking so good now. Best of luck with your deadline.
Stop reading this and get back to work!

Did you finish the sheep? I've been wondering what you finally came up with. We need pictures! I can hardly stand it, I need to know and I'm sure everyone else does too.

Yes I did Sue! =D I finished them 3 weeks ago, then I "re-finished" them 2 weeks ago, and now I "re-finished" them yet again on Saturday at 3 AM. LOL
Each time they kept improving in their overall look.
But, I'm just going to make a few small changes here and there (essentially another "re-finish") before posting the "final" product along with a lot of in-process pictures I took which documented the progress.
Thanks a lot for the support and desire to see them! I'll have them up soon!
